The Roll-cultivator is an excellent tool to produce a fine tilth of topsoil. Soil clumps are broken fast with an easy push - and pull movement. Young weeds are pulled out, lose contact with the soil and dry out.
Compost, fertiliser and rock powders are mixed with the soil faster and better than with a rake.
The roll cultivator is a 200mm wide roller with 170mm diameter. It is a sturdy and quite heavy spike roller to help cruble dry lumpy soil into a finer tilth.
Requires a 1.5m wooden handle with taper, not supplied.
