Upcoming Events For Growers - Come say Hi 👋

In the next month we will be on tour heading to see some of our favourite people and attending some of our favourite growers events of the year.

This hasn’t been the easiest growing year by any means, and often market gardening can feel quite solitary, so have a read below and maybe join us at some of these events to share stories, get advice, and go into the colder part of the season feeling regenerated and inspired.

Worthy Earth Festival - 20th - 22nd September

Join for three days of Folk, Dance and Regenerative Agriculture Talks plus a range of crafts, workshops and delicious farm to fork food. All set on a sunlit Hampshire hill overlooking the Worthy Earth Market Garden.

With talks from the wonderfully knowledgeable Huw Richards as speaks about his seminal, new book The Self Sufficiency Garden. Plus a keynote talk from Satish Kumar; peace-pilgrim, life-long activist and former monk. Satish has been inspiring global change for over 50 years and will speak about Soil, Soul and Society.

Market Gardeners Camp Out - Soul Farm 24th -25th September

Spend two days learning, meeting new people, and having a good time. Learn best practices, tools, techniques, and strategies from a range of market gardeners.

With talks from Jean-Martin Fortier on Market Gardening & Crop Planning, Converting to Organic and Buying in Produce with Goonown Growers, and Cover crops with Andy Dibben.

Plus we will be teaming up with the Soul Farm team to talk about tools and techniques in growing. And there will be so much more including: incredible food, a walk and swim on the beach, and a fireside party.

Organic Growers Gathering - Tolhurst Organics - 27th - 29th September

The Organic Growers Gathering is for small scale fruit, vegetable, herb and flower growers to land workers, crafters and purveyors of folk music.

Whether you’re a weathered master of the soil or a new entrant gaining experience seeding your ideas, there is something here for everyone. Expect lots of practical sessions and break out spaces. At this event growers gather to network, skill share, build community, discover, and learn.

We will also be giving a talk on regenerative agriculture tools and how they can benefit market gardeners.
