Description
If you grow vegetables, and have an accessible water source, the Futurepump SE1 solar water pump can help you save money.
Have a water source but no power for a pump, this solar irrigation pump is a perfect solution made by Future Pumps and now available in the UK.
The Futurepump SE1 is a portable pump designed for irrigating approximately one acre of vegetable plots. It pumps around half a litre per second in full sunlight and can be used with 1 inch hosepipes, sprinkler, tanks or drip irrigation systems.
PLEASE ADD A SOLAR PANEL TO YOUR PURCHASE IF YOU HAVEN'T ALREADY. WE RECOMMEND A MINIMUM OF THE 60W PANEL WITH THE SE1.
IF YOU WISH TO USE YOUR OWN SOLAR PANEL SETUP PLEASE CALL US TO DISCUSS.

PLEASE NOTE :
THE OUTLET PIPE HAS A VERY TIGHT CONNECTION WITH THE PUMP, TO HELP WITH THIS WE RECOMMEND THAT THE PIPE IS HEATED FIRST USING ONE OF THE FOLLWING METHODS.
- Either hold the hose pipe in boiling water until it is somewhat soft, then place it on the connector.
- Or use a heat gun or hair dryer to soften the hose pipe from all sides and place it on the connector.
- If nothing else is available a open fire or stove can also be used, but the changes of unequal heating and therefore leakages after placing the connector are bigger.
